Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how InterpretNow collects, uses, shares, and protects information when clients, interpreters, and visitors use our platform.

Information we collect

We collect information needed to create accounts, manage interpreter profiles, process bookings, communicate with users, and operate the platform. This may include name, email address, phone number, password credentials, role type, business or organization details, address or service location, zip code, language needs, appointment details, booking notes, interpreter rate, interpreter profile details, qualifications, certifications, specializations, reviews, ratings, and platform activity.

Interpreters may provide additional information such as languages offered, certification status, service distance, bio, availability, and payment or subscription-related information.

How we use information

We use information to operate InterpretNow, match clients with interpreters, display available jobs, process bookings, send notifications, manage interpreter approvals, calculate platform fees, support subscriptions, prevent fraud, provide customer support, improve reliability, and enforce platform rules.

Payments and Stripe

Payments and subscriptions are processed through Stripe. InterpretNow does not store full credit card numbers on its own servers. Stripe may collect and process payment information according to its own privacy policy and services agreement.

How information is shared

We share limited information between clients and interpreters as needed to complete bookings. For example, an interpreter may see booking details, language requested, appointment type, location or remote-session details, preparation notes, and client name when necessary to perform the service.

We may also share information with service providers that help us operate the platform, such as payment processors, hosting providers, email or notification tools, fraud-prevention services, and customer support systems. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect users, or to enforce our terms.

Data security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect user information. No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security, but we work to limit access to information and use trusted providers for hosting and payment processing.

Data retention

We keep account, booking, payment-status, and platform records for as long as needed to operate the service, comply with legal or accounting obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain platform history. Users may contact us to request account review or deletion where permitted by law.

Cookies and analytics

InterpretNow may use cookies, session storage, or similar technologies to keep users logged in, maintain security, remember preferences, improve performance, and understand platform usage. Browser settings may allow users to limit cookies, but some platform features may not work properly without them.

Your choices

Users may update account information through their dashboard where available. Users may also contact support to request help accessing, correcting, or deleting certain information. Some records may need to be retained for legal, security, payment, or dispute-resolution reasons.

Children’s privacy

InterpretNow is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If we learn that such information has been collected, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the platform grows or as legal, operational, or payment requirements change. The “Last updated” date will reflect the latest version.
