Terms of Service

By creating an account, requesting a booking, accepting a booking, purchasing a subscription, or using InterpretNow, you agree to these Terms of Service and any policies referenced by the platform.

InterpretNow provides marketplace technology that helps clients find interpreters and helps interpreters access booking opportunities. InterpretNow is not a medical provider, law firm, government agency, or emergency service. Interpreters are responsible for the quality, accuracy, professionalism, and scope of services they provide.

Users must provide accurate account information and keep login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account. InterpretNow may restrict or remove access if information is false, incomplete, abusive, fraudulent, or violates platform rules.

Clients may request interpretation services by providing appointment details, language needs, service type, delivery mode, date, time, and preparation notes. Interpreters may accept available jobs based on their qualifications, availability, and plan access.

Users are responsible for showing up on time, providing accurate appointment information, and communicating promptly if booking details change.

Clients may be charged for booking services and applicable platform fees. Interpreters may be charged a platform fee on completed bookings. Current interpreter platform fee rules include Basic plan at 7% and Pro plan at 5% on completed bookings, unless updated by InterpretNow.

Payment processing is handled through Stripe. Users may also be subject to Stripe’s terms, policies, and payment processing requirements.

Interpreter membership plans may renew monthly unless cancelled or changed through the billing portal. Basic and Pro plan pricing, job limits, platform fees, and trial offers are displayed in the interpreter membership dashboard.

Founding interpreter promotions, free trial periods, or waived fees may be offered at InterpretNow’s discretion and may be changed or discontinued for future users.

Cancellation and refund eligibility may depend on booking timing, interpreter acceptance, whether services have already started, no-shows, and other booking circumstances. InterpretNow may review disputes case by case and may deny refunds for completed services, late cancellations, abuse, or inaccurate booking details.

Users may not misuse the platform, harass others, submit false information, bypass platform payments, interfere with service operation, upload harmful content, impersonate others, or use InterpretNow for unlawful purposes.

Clients may submit reviews after completed bookings. Reviews must be truthful and based on actual experiences. InterpretNow may remove reviews that are abusive, fraudulent, discriminatory, irrelevant, or otherwise violate platform rules.

InterpretNow may suspend or terminate accounts, interpreter access, booking privileges, or subscriptions if a user violates these terms, creates risk, fails verification, engages in misconduct, or harms the platform or other users.

InterpretNow is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, booking volume, interpreter availability, specific earnings, or a particular outcome from any appointment.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, InterpretNow will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, or damages arising from user conduct, interpreter performance, third-party services, or unavailable platform access.

We may update these Terms of Service as the platform, payment structure, legal requirements, or business operations change. Continued use of InterpretNow after updates means you accept the revised terms.
